Babel Street Appoints Benji Hutchinson as Chief Executive Officer

WASHINGTON, May 13, 2025 – Babel Street, a leader in advanced AI, data, and analytics for risk intelligence, today announced the appointment of Benji Hutchinson as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Michael Southworth, who is departing to pursue a new executive opportunity after helping lead Babel Street through a successful phase of transformation and growth. 

Hutchinson, formerly the company’s Chief Revenue Officer, has been an integral part of the company’s leadership team, playing a key role in advancing Babel Street’s go-to-market strategy and expanding scalable solution offerings. With this transition, Hutchinson brings continuity, customer focus, and strategic clarity to the role.

With more than 20 years of experience focused on identity-related technologies and high-stakes use cases, Hutchinson is well-positioned to lead Babel Street through its next phase of growth and innovation.
