The Babel Street team took one of the premier military-focused conferences by storm this February as an exhibitor and silver sponsor at AFCEA WEST. Taking place in San Diego this year, WEST is the premier sea services event focused on naval operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference serves as a showcase of emerging systems, platforms, technologies, and networks that will impact all areas of current and future sea service operations.
Babel Street and Rosette maintained two booths this year as our combined team jointly represented the capabilities found within our robust product offerings. The respective teams found no shortage of extremely interested leaders looking to understand how our solutions help solve some of the military’s biggest threat intelligence, alerting, and text analytics challenges. In fact, this year’s WEST conference was the largest in its 34-year history, with over 5,000 attendees.
A Showcase of Cutting-Edge Capabilities
The team seized this event as an opportunity to demonstrate the power of our AI-driven platform to warfighters, military decision-makers, and business integrators in-person. Interactions and direct product demos with dozens of active (or retired) Flag Officers, USN Captains, Senior Executive Service members and more, illustrated clearly why Babel Street is a leading choice for so many entities within the Department of Defense.

This charitable organization aims to ensure that every seriously wounded, ill and injured Navy and Coast Guard Sailor is given every opportunity for a full recovery by providing non-medical care and support to these individuals and their families.
The combined teams were so sharp with their messaging on the exhibit floor, in fact, that the hosts of ‘That Tech Pod” podcast shined a bright spotlight on Babel Street in their February 17th episode titled, “AFCEA WEST: Judging the Vendors” (available on Spotify, iTunes, and other major podcast outlets).
