Who can join?
Almost everyone! We're open to referrals globally. However, Babel Street employees, current employees of the referred company (and their immediate family members), registered Babel Street partner companies, and individuals under 18 are exceptions.
What qualifies as a legitimate referral?
A valid referral is a specified contact (with company association and contact details) deemed by Babel Street as potentially interested in our software solutions.
Is it mandatory to be a Babel Street customer for referrals?
Not at all. Our referral program is accessible to everyone.
How are referral rewards processed?
As we secure payment from the account you referred, we'll send your commission on a monthly basis.
Are commissions taxable?
Yes, commissions are considered taxable income. Before we process your commission, we'll need a completed W-9 form. Detailed instructions will be shared upon program entry. For tax-related advice, please consult a financial advisor.
When will I get my commissions?
Payments are sent monthly, post the receipt of payment from your referrals. Sometimes, commissions might extend beyond a single payment cycle, depending on the terms of specific promotions.
What if my referred contact is already in touch with Babel Street's sales division?
Only new introductions qualify. If the contact is already engaged with us, it won't be considered a valid referral.
Is familiarity with my referral mandatory?
No. But, in line with professional etiquette, we recommend that you personally know and have consulted the individual you're referring to us.
How long should my referral be a customer for me to earn?
Your commissions are based on the license fees Babel Street receives from your referrals. You start earning as soon as we do.
